coRpSE fiest message in this thread, shows you how to change the doctype of you site.

Yes, I saw that and did all the changes. I misunderstood and thought there was another setting I had to do.

Thanks for all the information and replies.  cool

Try this. Run this SQL, clear your site's cache, then go back to the Theming section of the shout box and try changing the box arrows.

Code: [ Select all ]

DROP TABLE IF EXISTS `nuke_shoutbox_theme_images`;
CREATE TABLE `nuke_shoutbox_theme_images` (
 Â `id` int  AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY,
 Â `themeName` varchar(50) DEFAULT NULL,
 Â `blockArrowColor` varchar(50) DEFAULT NULL,
 Â `blockBackgroundImage` varchar(50) DEFAULT NULL
) ENGINE=MyISAM;

If that doesn't work, if you want, you can send me a PM with temp FTP, temp admin, and possibly SQL access and I will take a look.

That worked!   8)

Thank you

Here are the files taken straight from my site.
I didn't grab the SQL, but you may need that. If it doesn't work, then I will put up the SQL aswell.

Still does the same thing. hmmmmm  hrm

That's strange that it is not working on both of yours, ##UTBaDaSS## ##zardos##
Are there any errors that show up in the error log of your site or in the error log in the ACP?

Just watch this animated image, you can see it works on my site.

No errors, when I click on save images it just reverts to all black. Can we get a download of the module and the block.php?

Its always done that aswell. So all i do is rename the colour you want to black. (blue to black, yellow to black, red to black. whichever colour you chose, that works for me.) in the modules/shout_box/images....down pause up folders.

Worked!

Thank you  big grin

Not really, You would just have to change the doctype, refresh the page and take a look, only real way to know for sure if edits are needed.

Okay, Everything seems fine right now. I'm just not sure what you mean by "change the doctype"

Thanks for the reply  cool

Is there any way of testing/checking to see if it is compliant after the edits?

Hi all,

For some reason it won't allow me to change the theme images such as the arrow colors. It keeps defaulting to black.
