Yes, I saw that and did all the changes. I misunderstood and thought there was another setting I had to do.

Try this. Run this SQL, clear your site's cache, then go back to the Theming section of the shout box and try changing the box arrows.

I didn't grab the SQL, but you may need that. If it doesn't work, then I will put up the SQL aswell.

Are there any errors that show up in the error log of your site or in the error log in the ACP?

Its always done that aswell. So all i do is rename the colour you want to black. (blue to black, yellow to black, red to black. whichever colour you chose, that works for me.) in the modules/shout_box/images....down pause up folders.

Not really, You would just have to change the doctype, refresh the page and take a look, only real way to know for sure if edits are needed.

Okay, Everything seems fine right now. I'm just not sure what you mean by "change the doctype"
